Who is responsible for your data

What we process and why

• Buying a licence: the email address, name and country you give at checkout, plus Stripe’s identifiers for the payment, customer and subscription. We need them to give you the licence and keep sales records (contract and legal obligations: GDPR Art. 6(1)(b) and (c)). Only Stripe sees your card details.
• Your licence: the key, plan, expiry date and activations: for each site or computer, the identifier sent by the plugin or app (for example the site address) and the date of the last check. We need them to enforce the number of activations in your plan (contract).
• Kalki Voice Pro: your recording and dictated text pass through our server to Groq only for as long as transcription or clean-up takes; we do not keep them. We keep the number of seconds transcribed and clean-up requests each month, to apply the monthly cap (contract).
• Withdrawal requests: your name, email, key or payment details and message, to handle the request and be able to prove we received it (legal obligation).
• Emails you send us: what you write, so we can reply.

The website

The website uses no tracking cookies and no analytics. Fonts are hosted on our own server, so nothing is loaded from Google. Your display preferences (light or dark theme, language) are kept only in your browser (localStorage). Cloudflare, which hosts the site, may process your IP address for security and to deliver pages.

Who we share it with

• Cloudflare, Inc.: hosting of the site and the licence database (processor).
• Stripe: payment, invoicing and the customer portal. For payment data Stripe is an independent controller; when Stripe sells as a reseller (Stripe Managed Payments), it is also the seller of the transaction.
• Groq, Inc. (USA): transcription and clean-up for Kalki Voice Pro (processor).

When data leaves the European Economic Area, the transfer relies on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses, as applicable.

How long we keep it

We keep licence data while the licence is valid and afterwards for as long as the law requires for accounting and for defending possible legal claims. Kalki Voice Pro usage counters are kept while the licence is valid. Audio recordings are not kept at all.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase or restrict your data, to object to processing and to receive your data in a portable format. Write to [email protected]. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Romanian data protection authority (dataprotection.ro) or to the authority in your own country.
